Dave reports the following: “I must tell you that tonight at the jail the Lord did things in most unusual ways: One by one, several inmates and I ‘shared and prayed’ all evening long. I was comfortable and thankful that what we were doing was fruitful, and finally one inmate named Hasani very sincerely responded that he wanted to be forgiven of sin and receive the Lord. So, I explained emphatically what and how we were going to pray, what it really meant, etc. Before we could start 3 other inmates appeared at our table and said that they wanted to do the same thing. So we all prayed aloud together!”

Praise God that, in all, thirteen men prayed to receive Jesus as Lord of their lives this past month. Pray these men would get grounded in their faith, and remain rooted once they get out of jail.

Brian has been talking weekly to a man named Duane. Duane is not yet saved, but Brian believes that he is on the verge. “Have you ever asked Jesus to reveal Himself to you?” Brian asked him. “Every night I ask Him,” Duane responded. “I can’t follow what I don’t believe in. I sold drugs because of all the money I made. I don’t want to go back to that lifestyle. I pray, ‘God, if You’re real, show me and You will have a foot soldier for life.’ I do everything 100%.”

The Lord revealed something specific to Brian to share with Duane and Duane thought it might be God showing him that He is real. Duane desperately wants to believe. Brian told him that he would ask all of you to pray that Jesus would reveal Himself to Duane in a miraculous way. Duane was very excited to know that he was going to be prayed for by so many people. Please pray that Duane surrenders to Jesus and becomes absolutely sold out to Him.
