Prayer for a Persecuted Afghan Prisoner

Please pray for Abdul Rahman, an Afghan man who could face the death penalty in his country simply because he left Islam and put his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm humbled by his courage to boldly proclaim his faith despite the cost.

"Lord God, turn the hearts of the men who would put Your servant to death. Convict them of their sin. Protect Abdul. Comfort and strengthen him by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Let more and more Afghan people repent of their sin and turn to Christ. Set the people free from the power of the devil. In Jesus' Name. Amen."
