House call

Cliff was temporarily released from jail a while ago. He was one of the guys who wanted to work on restoring houses when he was finally released. He's out for a short time while his court case is delayed. He's living with his mom under house arrest. He's got the whole ankle bracelet thing going on. He is only able to leave the house for a few hours on Saturdays.

A short while back, a deacon and I went to visit Cliff at his mom's house. It was a blessing to see him in "normal" clothes and to fellowship with him. Because he was temporarily released, he was able to renew his hazardous material certification, which will allow him to work with lead paint, etc. that you find in old homes. That was a huge answer to prayer for him. It means he's one step closer to fulfilling his dream of being in the home restoring business.

Cliff is hoping to be able to come to church while he is temporarily out of jail. Pray that the courts will allow him to leave his house for at least a short time on Sundays so that he can come to church.
