Opening up to the Lord

Tim was into an offshoot of the Nation of Islam. Brian had a conversation with him and Tim’s speech was barely understandable. Brian prayed for Tim that God would work in his situation. The following week, Tim looked and sounded like a different person. Even his friend Duane noticed a difference. Tim acknowledged that the prayer in Jesus Name had been answered. He is more open to the Christian faith. Pray that Tim would commit his life to Christ. Pray that the Lord would break Duane’s pride and that Duane would surrender to Jesus as well. Duane knows that the Lord wants him to call his aunt and be reconciled. This, he believes, is key to his being released. Pray that he would do it.
